Art About Town is a project of The Northern Artist Gallery, this project brings locally created art work into the public sphere.

It serves to enrich public environments and enhance the artistic and cultural pride of Sudbury by providing stimulating and educational interactions.

As Mayor of the City of Greater Sudbury, I am very pleased to extend my best wishes to the members of the Northern Artists Gallery/Artists on Elgin.  ³Artists on Elgin² is recognized as a keystone in the revitalization of Elgin Street, adding much interest and zest to Sudbury¹s downtown.  We very much appreciate the efforts of our vibrant arts community which contributes to the cultural well being of our citizens. I am also delighted to be a supporter of the ³Art about Town² program. Through this program, visitors to my office have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse collection of arts and crafts from our gifted local artists.
