This year was the Second Annual Nuit Blanche event that was hosted at the McEwen Architecture Building and partnered by Laurentian University. The event ran from 7pm-1am on January 27.
The architecture building itself hosted an arrangement of student led installations, film, dance, and musical performances, as well as various other art and cultural organizations who showcased their own local work.

This year was Artists on Elgin’s first year at Nuit Blanche! We showcased 9 of our member artist’s artwork. We provided an arrangement of artwork which included acrylic, mixed media, alcohol ink, fused glass, and photography.

The evening was truly a celebration of local artists, artisans, and to showcase the downtown Sudbury arts scene. Our member artists, board member, and business promotions coordinator had a wonderful time mingling with the crowd and showcasing the mixture of collections we had provided for the event. Thank you to the coordinators of Nuit Blanche and to the McEwen Architecture Building for providing such a unique and contemporary venue for the evening.
