An Exhibition by Paddy O’Sullivan

 

SUDBURY, ON –March 13– The Northern Artist Gallery is excited to announce that the exhibit for the month of April will be abstract artist Paddy O’Sullivan. The intriguing exhibit will be at Artists on Elgin from April 1-30.The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Saturday April 6th from 1pm to 4pm to meet the artist.

Paddy O’Sullivan’s new works of art for this show includes two pieces that are a homage to Miles Davis, the great jazz musician and Gord Downey the lead singer for the Tragically Hip as well as several abstract pieces of art featuring brilliant colours and interesting textures. This grouping of art is both eclectic and intriguing. 

 
Paddy O'Sullivan grew up in Timmins, Ontario, and has resided inSudbury since 1978. He studied at Laurentian University where he received both undergraduate and graduate degrees. One of his beliefs is that art can help invigorate and support a more soulful environment in homes and workplaces, by inspiringpeople with visual art that lifts their minds, hearts and spirits.Some of his paintings are hanging in private and corporate collections in Scotland, France, Saudi Arabia, the United States and Canada.

 
Artists on Elgin is located at 168 Elgin Street, and is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
